Protests in Marina Beach banned

The Tamil Nadu Police has banned protest meetings from Napier Bridge to Light House along the Marina Beach. The police department has mentioned that ban is in force in some of the important places. People in large numbers come to Marina Beach to spend the time leisurely. Protests can be held in specified places after obtaining due permission of the police. It has been mentioned that stringent action will be taken against people who protest in Marina Beach.
