There has been a change in the examination dates from what was announced earlier by CBSE for the 10th and 12th Standards.
CBSE had prepared and released the examination schedule for 10th and 12th Standards throughout the country. Presently, CBSE had made certain changes in this timetable day-before-yesterday (Thursday, 26th January).
As per the change, the 10th Standard examinations will start from 9th March and end on 10th April. The 12th Standard examinations will start on 9th March and end on 29th April. For both the classes, the dates of examinations for 7 subjects have been changed.
Changes in 10th Standard examinations
As per the changed schedule, the examinations for Tamil for 10th Standard is postponed from 10th March to 18th March. The examination for Gurunk Language will be conducted on 10th March instead of the original 23rd March. The examination for the National Student Corp will be conducted on 23rd March instead of the original 15th March.
Changes in the 12th Standard Examinations
The examination on dramatics and Thankul Culture will be conducted on 10th April instead of the originally scheduled 20th April.The examination on Physical Education will be conducted on 12th March instead of the original 10th March. The examination on Social Science will be conducted on 20th March instead of the original 12th March. The examination on food service-2 will be conducted on 26th March instead of the original 29th March.
Demand rejected
The demand from the parents for a change in the date of Biology examination (as it is coming along successively with the JEE examination) has been rejected by CBSE.
