Sales of Coke and Pepsi banned in Puducherry

Puducherry merchants have decided not to sell Pepsi and Coke from 1st March. There were protests in support of Jallikattu throughout Tamil Nadu. At that time, there was also a demand that foreign cool drinks should be banned.
At this juncture, Puducherry merchants have decided not to sell Pepsi and Coke from 1st March. In connection with this the Puducherry State Traders Association’s members meeting was held at Ariyankuppam. In this meeting it was decided not to sell Coke and Pepsi in Puducherry like in Tamil Nadu from 1st March.
