CM Edappadi Palanisamy signs in 5 welfare schemes

Immediately after assuming office as Chief Minister of the State of Tamil Nadu government today (Monday, 20th February), Edappadi Palanisamy signed on 5 major welfare schemes and commenced his duty.
The 5 important welfare schemes signed by him refer to:
- The financial assistance, given to poor pregnant women, to be increased from Rs. 12000/- to Rs. 18000/-.
- 500 more TASMAC shops to be closed
- The monthly allowance, given to jobless youngsters, being doubled.
- 50 percent subsidy to be given to working women for buying vehicle.
- Independent house facility for fishermen community
