The public examination for class 12 is fast approaching. Students will have to present all their learnings made throughout the years on this single day. Teachers would have certainly given the best training to their students. At the same time, parents play a vital role as well. Below are a few important points for parents to help their child (ren) score better in board exam and feel more confident.

Positive thoughts - as the first step, give them the necessary positive energy. As the exam approaches, there are possibilities for negativity to penetrate in their minds gradually. Hence, keep giving your child the necessary positivity throughout.

Clam surrounding - give your child a calm atmosphere at home. This does not mean that you should turn off the TV or restrict noise from neighbors and others around. You should rather have a peaceful family sharing and caring for each other without controversial elements. This may lead to disputes in family. Hence, create a calm atmosphere for studying.

Books - if your child asks for a Guide when the exam is too close, many parents hesitate and raise questions about why they need the book at this point of time when the exam is too close. Further, your child might have lost his academic book and fear to inform that to you. So, enquire them if they have all the essential study materials. If anything is not there, buy it to them readily.

Schedule studies - School teaching staff would have suggested schedule for study holidays. List them out with your child. Keep a reminder of daily schedule. If your child is unable to finish studying as per schedule, do not scold, rather encourage them to study in the following days.

Keep them stress free - it is completely natural to feel tensed while going for exam. For the exam goers, it is in fact instinctive to feel scared. Parents should not be engaged in activities of talks that further surges their fear or stress. Keep their mental and physical health well maintained. Give them enough confidence and relax them

Get enough sleep - make sure that your child gets enough sleep. Studying continuously is not advisable. Let them take breaks in between for fifteen minutes to half an hour. Minimum of six hours sleep is recommended. Sleeping between 11 pm and 5 am is ideal.

It is important that your child shares good rapport with the teacher. Also make sure to be with your child while going for the exam as it can increase confidence in your child. Practice these little steps and see your child flourishing with flying colors.
