Increase in TNPSC Examination Fees

TNPSC examination fees are going up. It is announced the revised charges will be effective from 1st March.

A brief on the government order released by the department of the Employees and Management Improvement:

As requested by TNPSC (The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission), the examination fees are being revised. Accordingly, the fees for the interview and examinations for the state government employment is revised from Rs. 125/- to Rs. 200/-.  For the subordinate employment cadre, the examination fees are revised from Rs. 100/- to Rs. 150/-.

The fees for posts involving only written test is revised from Rs. 75/- to Rs. 100/-. The examination fees for Grade-1 is revised from Rs. 75/- to Rs. 100/-. The online registration fee (valid for 5 years) is revised from Rs. 30/- to Rs. 150/-.

Until now, candidates (graduates) belonging to the B. C., B. C. (Muslim), and M. B. C. Categories are allowed to write TNPSC examinations 3 times without paying any fees. This concession is now extended – it is available not only for the graduates but also for other qualifications like +2. Or SSLC.

The revised fees will be effective from 1st March.
