The sacred event of Maha Kumbhabhshekham is scheduled to be performed in the Triplicane Sri Tiruvetteeswarar temple tomorrow (Wednesday, 8th March).
The famous temple of his Lordship Tiruvetteeswarar along with his Consort Shenbagambikai is situated in the Thiruvetteeswaran pettai in Triplicane.
This temple has been renovated completely and the sanctification ceremony of Maha kumbhabhishekham is scheduled to be performed tomorrow (Wednesday, 8th March).
At 6 AM tomorrow morning, 6th Kala Yaga Pooja is performed. At 7 AM, Parivara Yaga salaigal Poornahudhi will be performed.
At 9 AM, Yathradhanam Kadappurappadum will be performed. The Maha kumbhabhishekham covering the Rajagopuram and all other towers and annexes including the other sanctum sanctorum of Lord Vinayaka, Lord Shanmuga, Sri Ambal, Sri Durga, and Sri Chandikeswara will be performed between 9 AM and 10.15 AM.
At 10.15 AM, Deeparadhana will be performed. At 3 PM Mahabhishekham will be performed. At 7 PM, Thirukkalayanam (Sacred wedding) and Thiruveedhiyula (Procession in the corridors) and Theppam Festival will be performed.
