The deadline for applying to write NET approaches

The last date for applying to write NET (National Eligibility Test) to be qualified to be employed as Assistant Professors gets over with today (Sunday, 12th March).
A pass in NET (conducted by either the state or central government) is compulsory to qualify to work as Assistant Professors in all government and private Arts and Science Colleges.
As per the regulations of UGC (University Grants Commission) those who do not pass NET must complete Ph. D.
In the state government of Tamil Nadu, it has announced the dates for NET in the month of February.
Mother Teresa Women`s University is conducting NET on behalf of the state government of Tamil Nadu. The procedure of applying online for writing NET commenced on 12th February. The applications have to be filled up online and submitted before today (12th March).
Mother Teresa Women`s University has informed that those who fail to apply before today can still apply with the late penalty charges of Rs. 300/- till 19th March.
