MTC drivers strike at K.K Nagar depot

Employees of the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) at the KK Nagar bus depot went strike on Monday morning, protesting the alleged new restrictions on tea breaks during night shifts.
Leaving many passengers stranded for over an hour, angry drivers and conductors went on a flash strike at K.K. Nagar bus terminus on Monday morning seeking restoration of the old system complaining that the new system was causing unnecessary problems between crew members.
The strike that lasted for more than three hours, caused untold hardships for passengers dependent on buses departing from K K Nagar bus terminus.
