RGG hospital in Chennai on standstill due to sudden strike by apprentice doctors

It is gathered that some of the trainee doctors working in Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital in Chennai refused to give treatment one of the students who was admitted there.

The relatives of the students were enraged by this and they started attacking the apprentice doctors.

Upset by this incident, the apprentice doctors gathered together in front of the hospital and protested blocking the road. Many patients in the hospital under treatment were affected by this.

In this situation, it was understood that a patient, Sudhakar, being treated in the emergency ward, passed away while there were no doctors around.

However, the Dean of Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Narayanaswami denied that there any deaths. The patient Sudhakar is keeping well and in good health. 

Discussions are under way with the apprentice doctors to solve this issue. Some of the apprentice doctors have returned to work.

Because of the sudden catcall strike by the apprentice doctors protesting and blocking the road, the traffic in the Central Station was severely affected and the movement almost came to a standstill.

Subsequently, the police personnel had a discussion with the apprentice doctors, Later, the protest was withdrawn.
