Indian Scientists Develop Credit-Card Sized ECG Machine

A group of Indian scientists have accomplished the fantastic achievement of designing and creating an ECG machine which monitors the functioning of the heart.
As per the recent statistics, at least 1 person every 30 seconds dies due to the heart attack in these days and number of heart failures are increasing every year.
The medical experts use the device ECG (Electro Cardio Graphy) which monitors the functioning of the heart to find the condition and treat as required.
The above statistic of 1 person dying every 30 seconds due to the heart attack in India is attributed to 2 major reasons - the non-awareness about heart attacks and the absence of facility to detect the malfunctioning of heart.
The scientists of Mumbai Bhabha Atomic Research have accomplished the special task of creating a new ECG of credit card size By using this smaller size ECG device, one can send the heart functioning data to the doctor through the mobile phone.
With this tele-ECG, a person staying in his residence can exchange detailed information on the heart condition with the doctor,
The price of this new ECG is fixed at Rs. 4000.
It is worth comparing with the present ECG used which very large in size and costs almost 10 times more.
