Is it ok to go for a walk during nights?

During the early mornings, the surroundings will be peaceful and the air outside will be unpolluted and refreshing. So, taking walks during early mornings in the open air will yield the best benefits.

Depending on the locality and the persons, it is ok to take a walk in the terrace or the streets,

However, it is very advisable not to go for a walk immediately after taking food as it would adversely affect the digestion process.

There are 2 opinions about walking – it is better to take walk on the left side of the open grounds or parks whereas the 2nd set believes it is the best for health to take a walk on the right side of the areas.

However, these are only observations without any establishment. So, never mind whether it is left or right, but continue the good habit of regular walking in the early mornings.

Take a brisk walk at a speed of 6 km per hour swinging your hands freely and taking long strides. It is best to walk for 150 minutes in a week at the rate of a minimum 25 minutes every day. The body tissues get really rejuvenated while undertaking a walk.

When a walk is undertaken for a distance of 1 km every day, 200 calories of the body energy is expended. This helps maintain the body weight depending on the height and age of the individual.
