Prospects of rains in South Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain in the interior areas of the South Tamil Nadu due to the thermal convection formed over these areas.
An official of the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that there are prospects of rain and thunder in a few places interior of South Tamil Nadu in the next 24 hours. The weather will continue to be dry in the rest of Tamil Nadu. Chennai Metro will remain partly cloudy.
The rain might abate tomorrow (Sunday, 19th March) and the intensity of heat may increase.
