The summer temperature crossed 100 Degrees Fahrenheit in 6 cities in Tamil Nadu including Coimbatore, Karur, and Vellore.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the intensity of the heat is likely to increase in the coming days in Tamil Nadu.
The officials from the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that there is absolutely no scope for any rains in the next 4 to 5 days.
The impact of heat will persist to be more severe in the months of April and May.
In case this hot weather persists, there are bright prospects for summer rains in the region. However, the impact of the summer in the current period is not high enough to cause summer rains.
