Aadhar card required for new vehicle registration

The details of Aadhar card, PAN, and telephone numbers must be furnished for registration of new vehicles from yesterday (April 1).
The Commissioner of the Department of Transport, Dayanand Kataria has sent a circular regarding this to all the RTOs (Regional Transport Offices) in the state of Tamil Nadu.
He has informed that the particulars of Aadhar Card, PAN card, and the telephone number of the registering person must be entered in the registration.
