Under the National Institutional Ranking Framework introduced by the ministry of human resource development, the list of top 100 Indian institutes is released. This consists of 37 colleges from Tamil Nadu, adding accolades to the state.
Loyola College in Chennai stands second. Among the top 20 are Ethiraj College for women, Madras Christian College and Women’s Christian College.
In terms of Research and Professional practice, Loyola College got 100 upon 100. This is among the parameters that decide rankings.
