Reliance Jio is the fastest 4G in India, TRAI data

While Airtel keeps boasting of its internet services as the fastest in India, TRAI reports claim Reliance Jio as the network with fastest 4G download speed in the country in March. Jio was also the fastest in the month of February too. However, Jio stood fourth in January. The TRAI report is announced after a few days of Reliance Jio announcement regarding Jio Summer Surprise offer that provides free Jio services for 3 more months, as an extension of the free period.
TRAI’s MySpeed app reports that the average 4G internet speed on Reliance Jio is 16.487 Mbps. This follows Idea with 12.092 Mbps, Airtel with 10.439 Mbps, and Vodafone with 7.933 Mbps and Reliance Communications is in fifth place with 2.958 Mbps.
Notably, the network in 4th position in India has seen substantial decline in download speed in the previous month. Since January, the download speed on Airtel and Vodafone has been declining.
Reliance Jio stands ahead as the fastest network in downloads, whereas it lags in 4G upload speed. Here, Idea tops the list with 6.536 Mbps as the average speed and Vodafone stands next with 5.429 Mbps, and this follows Airtel with 4.455 Mbps. Reliance Jio stands 4th with 3.581 Mbps. Reliance Communications has 1.490 Mbps upload speed.
