Sales of meat banned tomorrow (8th April) on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanthi

All meat shops functioning under the Department of Public Health in Chennai Metro Corporation will remain closed on Sunday, 9th April on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanthi.
Further, sales of mutton, beef, pork, and other animal meats are banned in the Departmental Stores/Supermarkets and commercial complexes on this day (9th April).
Chennai Metro Corporation requests full cooperation from the shop owners and public in this regard.
