The well-known telecom service provider Nokia has entered into an agreement with telecom service providers Airtel and BSNL for providing 5G services in India.
As compared with the developed countries, 3G and 4G services were introduced rather late in India. Meanwhile, the developed countries are already preparing to provide 5G services.
5G cell phone services are slated to be provided in the developed countries before the year 2020. Subsequently, it is planned in India as well to introduce 5G services at least before 2022.
Reliance Jio and Samsung have already jointly announced to provide 5G services in India. Now Nokia has entered into an agreement with BSNL and airtel to introduce 5G services in India.
Nokia has been making all-out efforts to reclaim its premier position in the mobile industry.
