Special Book Fair in Periyar grounds

On the occasion of the World Book Day, a special Book Fair will open on tomorrow (Friday, 21st April) at the Periyar grounds, Chennai.
World Book Day is celebrated on 23rd April every year. As a part of this, a special book fair called Chennai Puthaga Sangamam is being organised.
The book fair will open tomorrow (Friday, 21st April) and conclude on 25th April.
The book fair will be open to the public from 11.00 AM to 9.00 PM.
There will be a 50 percent discount for the buyers. There are 49 stalls. There is a common general stall. A good number of publishers are participating in the fair selling their books on a very wide range of topics.
There is no entrance fee. Facilities for different modes of payment including ATM, loan arrangement and use of debit/credit cards are available.
A lucky draw will be conducted every day and a lucky visitor will be selected to win a cell phone.
As a port of the book fair, food fair and various competitions for children are also organised.
