Heat will be more severe in 4 districts today

The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, S. Balachandran, informed that the heat will be more intense in the district Vellore, Dharmapuri, Salem, and Krishnagiri.

The severity of the summer this year has been increasing in Tamil Nadu with every passing day. Especially, very high temperatures are being recorded in Vellore, Thiruvallur, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Madurai, and Trichy.

A temperature of 111 Degrees Fahrenheit has been recorded in Vellore on 23rd April, which is unprecedented over the last 17 years.

As per yesterday’s record, the temperature had touched 100 Degrees Fahrenheit in 11 cities in the state of Tamil Nadu.

The Meteorological Centre has warned that the heat today (Tuesday, 25th April) will be much more severe in 4 districts including Vellore, Dharmapuri, Salem, and Krishnagiri.

The director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that the heat intensity will be more today in Vellore, Salem, Dharmapuri, and Krishnagiri. Temperature over 104 Degrees Fahrenheit might be recorded in these areas.
