Bahubali, which was released in the year 2015 created history in the world of Indian movies. It was a roaring mega-hit and drew worldwide attention for its values.

Now, the sequel to this movie, Bahubali-2 is being released today (Friday, 28th April) in 7000 to 8000 movie theatres. The advance booking is in full swing throughout India. Crores of people are gathering around the theatres to book the ticket personally.

In a theatre in Hyderabad, there is a 3 km long queue to buy 2 tickets per person. As there are huge expectations about the film, the black-market is playing its dirty game as usual with tickets being sold at astronomical prices from Rs. 1000, Rs. 2000, and up to Rs. 5000. Police personnel are being deployed to prevent this.

The general trend in the movie theatres in the states of Andhra and Telangana is to screen 4 shows per day. However, going by the extraordinary response to the release of Bahubali-2, the theatres have sought permission from the state government to screen up to 6 shows every day.
