Due to sea breeze, all the major cities in Tamil Nadu are relieved from scorching heat. Since the beginning of April month, the state has been seeing very high temperature. During 2nd and 3rd weeks of the month, the temperature furthermore raised. Unlike past 16 years, in Chennai and Vellore, there was severe hotness felt. Amidst this, people can now heave a sigh as the sun’s impact has reduced in the past two days.
Speaking about this, officials at the Chennai metrological department say there is reduction in sea breeze during April month, especially during 2nd and 3rd week. Due to this, the temperature raised more than degree Fahrenheit. As land breeze and sea breeze are both blowing alternatively, the overall temperature has significantly come down.
Further, as per recordings made at 5.30 pm yesterday, Karur recorded 106.88 degree Fahrenheit, Palayamkottai 106.32, Thiruthani 105.8 degree Fahrenheit.
