New procedure implemented in the Chennai domestic airport

The information pertaining to cancellations and delays of flights will not be announced through speakers henceforth in the Chennai domestic airport.
This system of the announcement of flight info is not practiced in other city airports like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. Instead, they follow the practice of sending this in for as SMS to the concerned passengers.
This practice will now be followed by the Chennai domestic airport as well, making it a silent airport.
The info regarding the flight cancellation or delay will be informed through SMS to the concerned passengers.
However, the practice of announcing the info regarding flight departure, arrival, etc. will continue in the Chennai International Airport.
