New governors to be appointed for 5 states

There are prospects that new permanent governors will be appointed soon for 5 states including Tamil Nadu.
As the present governor-in-charge of Tamil Nadu Vidyasagar Rao is already the governor of Maharashtra State, it is an additional burden for him.
A permanent governor has not been appointed for Tamil Nadu for quite some time. There are also other states without a governor – Andhra, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh.
It is reliably learned from the officials of the central ministry of home department, new permanent governors are likely to be appointed soon for 5 states including Tamil Nadu.
