BSNL plans to introduce 4G services in 6 months

The BSNL Tamil Nadu Telecommunication Circle has introduced 4 special concessional super bumper offers under the name Nothing better than this.
- Rs. 333 recharge - 3 GB data daily, validity 90 days.
- Rs. 349 recharge - 2 GB data daily, unlimited voice calls. validity 28 days.
- Rs. 395 recharge - 3 GB data daily. Free calls up to 3000 minutes on BSNL network and 1000 minutes on other networks. Validity 71 days.
- Rs. 339 recharge - 3 GB data daily. Unlimited calls in BSNL network and free 25 minutes to other networks.
The internet broadband connections provided through landline, at Rs. 675 and above per month - internet data increased from 2 MB to 4 MB. Wi-Fi hotspots, providing 10 MB data speed, will be set up in 120 cities.
There are plans to install 1428 towers providing 4G services and new towers with the latest technology in the period 2017-18. All the landlines will be upgraded to the next chief networking technology before the end of this year.
