Reliance Jio unveils its numbers

Declaring Reliance Industries’ the quarterly results last week, Reliance Jio, for the very first time, has opened up about its numbers. While the mobile networking company has faced Rs 2.25 crore loss, have just started with the Jio Prime plans recently, it is just the beginning of profiting.
 
The report also gave a breakup of total number of Reliance Jio subscribers. As per the company reports, Andhra Pradesh has maximum number of users with 9.4 million and Tamil Nadu and Gujarat stand next with 8.1 million users. This is followed by Maharashtra and Delhi with 7.7 million subscribers. The lowest number of users is in the Northeastern part of India with mere 0.9 million.
 
While there are 100 million subscribers onboard, the data usage is too high. About 110 crore GB of 4G data is being used every month. This is 5 times that of industry standard.
 
Under the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan IPL offer by Reliance Jio, with the recharge of Rs 309, users get 1GB data every day along with unlimited voice calling for 84 days.
 
The offer is similar to Summer Surprise Offer and the offer price is also quite similar which was earlier Rs 303. In the earlier plan, the validity was for 4 months, whereas in the new one, it is lesser with just 84 days.
 
With the Jio Prime Premium plan, customers enjoy 2GB data per day with unlimited voice calling for recharge of Rs 509, and it comes with 84 days validity. For non-Jio users, the plan comes for for Rs 549 recharge and for new customers, it is Rs 608.
