As per the Employees Pension Plan 1995, all employee members and pensioners get the subsidy from the central government.
The central government has now announced that Aadhar card details will be a compulsory for them to continue receiving this monthly pension,
The members and pensioners will have to approach the camps conducted by the EPFO (Employees Provident Fund Organisation) and furnish their Aadhar card number and digital life certificate.
The pensioners who have not submitted the digital living proof will have to visit the nearest EFPO office or the Public Service Centre and submit (a copy of) the Aadhar card, Bank Passbook, BPO Number, and the cell number and register them.
The pensioners who have not submitted their digital living proof must do it immediately. In the case of failure, the pension amount will not be credited to the bank savings account from 1st June.
