Driving licence to be cancelled if caught talking on the mobile while driving

The state government transport department commissioner Dayanand Kataria has ordered that the licence must be cancelled on the spot if anyone is caught talking on the mobile phone while driving a vehicle.
The commissioner emphasized that the maximum number of accidents involving loss of lives happen in the state of Tamil Nadu. The safety council of the Supreme Court had a detailed discussion regarding prevention of loss of lives in the accidents. On this review, it has ordered that the traffic rule violations involving cars and other vehicles must be monitored stringently.
As per this recommendation. the commissioner of the transport department informed the licences of vehicle drivers who commit traffic violations like high-speed, drunken driving and talking on the mobile phone while driving will be cancelled on the spot.
