On Tuesday, the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) issued an announcement regarding undergraduate level admission in range of courses. There are totally 13 UG degree courses in science and technology in 14 constituent colleges and 21 affiliated private colleges present across the state.
Speaking about this, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. K. Ramasamy said after result declaration, on 12th May, students can start applying for UG educational courses. The deadline for online application submission is 4th June.
On 10th June, students can expect the rank list announcement. Between 19th and 24th June, the first phase of counseling will take place. On 28th and 30th June, counselling will take place for vocational stream, NRI and industry sponsorship quota. The next phase will be held between 12th and 15th of July. From 24th July, registrations will be open for the following academic year. The third phase might be conducted between 8th and 12th of August if required. On 31st August, admissions will wrap up, said the Vice Chancellor.
There will be separate counselling for candidates of academic and vocational streams. Coimbatore campus will be the only venue for the counselling.
The Vice President further said that aspirants might show more interest towards agricultural UG courses, as NEET exam is mandated this year. There were 39,872 applications last year of which 17,473 were boys, 22,395 girls and 4 transgender.
