Direct admission to 2nd-year classes on engineering courses: Apply from 17th May

The state government of Tamil Nadu has announced that students who are diploma holders in any engineering faculty, or graduates (B. Sc. Mathematics) can be directly admitted to the 2nd year of the graduate engineering courses (Lateral Entry System). Applications can be sent online from 17th May.
As mentioned above, the diploma holders (from the polytechnics in any engineering faculty) and graduates in Mathematics (B. Sc.) can be directly admitted in the 2nd year of the B. E. or B. Tech. classes based on the lateral entry system.
Under this system, the interested candidates with above qualifications may apply to Anna University Colleges, government and government-aided engineering colleges, and self-financed private engineering colleges under the government reserved quota can apply to join in the academic year 2017-18 may apply online.
The applicants may fill up the forms and take a printout and attach with all the requisite copies or proofs of documents or certificates and a Demand Draft for Rs. 300 (Registration Fee) (The Secretary, Second year B.E, B.Tech Degree Admissions - 2017-18, ACCET, Karaikudi) and send before 14th June to Karaikudi.
