+2 results have been released online today (Friday, 12th May). 92.1 percent of the candidates have been successfully passed in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. 1813 schools have recorded 100 percent success.
Temporary mark certificates can be downloaded from the website:
www.dge.tn.nic.in from 15th May.
From 17th May, the candidates can visit their schools or examination centres to download their temporary mark certificates.
A special feature for this year certificates is that the names are entered in both English and Tamil.
Application for revaluation & re-totaling or to get copies of the answer paper can be made from today (Friday, 12th May) until 15th May. Applications will not be received on Sundays.
Students will have to apply in their respective schools and the private candidates will have to apply in the examination centres along with the prescribed fee for the revaluation & re-totaling or copy of answer sheets.
The number of girl students - 477930. 94.5 percent have passed. The number of boy students – 415331, 89.3 percent has passed.
As compared to the last year the percentage of successful students is up by 0.7 percent.
The percentage of success among the girl students is up by 5.2 percent as compared to the boy students.
Out of the 6732 higher secondary schools in Tamil Nadu, 1813 schools have recorded 100 percent success. 292 government schools have scored 100 percent success.
