Gold import triples in India

The import of gold in India during April 2016 - April 2017 was worth Rs. 7878 Crores.
The import of gold during this year 2017. For the corresponding month April was worth Rs. 24660 Crores.
Thus, it can be seen that gold import has tripled in a year.
