Changes in +2 syllabus: Total marks in the subjects will be 100 instead of present 200

The department of school education has already implemented several new measures such as the release of the results of 10th and 12th Standard examinations on a hi-tech mode.
Now, the department is planning to change the syllabus of +2 and the present mark system as well.
It is gathered that it is proposed to change the present system evaluation of each subject for 200 marks to 100 marks. It is also proposed to change the duration of the examination from the present 3 hours to 2.5 hours.
Further, an integrated mark certificate is proposed to be given for +1 and +2 classes. An announcement in this regard is expected shortly.
