Tamil Nadu Agricultural University general counselling from 19th June

The special counselling for admission to agricultural graduate courses was conducted yesterday (Friday, 16th June) at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore. 32 students got selected for admission.

The counseling is scheduled for graduate courses for the academic year 2017-18 for admission in the 14 government agricultural colleges and 21 private agricultural colleges in Tamil Nadu.

In the counselling session, 32 students were given admission as per the quota – Sports (5), Children of ex-military personnel (8), differently-abled (18), heirs of freedom struggle participants (1) – in the course for agriculture.

The administrators of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University explained that the general counselling for admission is scheduled from 19th June to 24th June.

The counselling for the  +2 students who studied in the vocational group is scheduled on 28th June.

For the students to be selected under the industrial quota NRI quota (foreign resident Indians) will be conducted on 30th June. The classes will start from 24th July.

Admission is being offered to 2820 students 13 different faculties in this schedule – B. Sc. In Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Forestry, Food Nutrition, and Dietetics, Agriculture marketing management, B. Tech. (Agricultural Engineering),  Bio-Technology, Bio-Information, Agricultural Information Technology, Food Processing Engineering, Fuel energy and environmental engineering,
