Petrol, diesel rates reduced

Petrol price was slashed by 34 paise per litre and diesel price cut by 20 paise per litre with effect from 6 am, June 18.
Rates will differ from state to state due to differential local sales tax or VAT rates.
After the price revision, a litre of petrol in Chennai will now cost Rs. 67.42 per litre and diesel will cost Rs. 57.03 per litre.
