Prospects of more rains in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the formation of a low-pressure zone over the Bay of Bengal, there are prospects of rain in a few places in Northern and Southern Tamil Nadu.
An official of the centre explained that a new depression has formed over the Bay of Bengal. It is located over the South Andhra coastal and Tamil Nadu southern coastal areas. Because of this, there are good prospects of rain with thunder in some areas of both Northern and Southern Tamil Nadu.
Chennai Metro will remain cloudy. It may rain lightly in a few places in the evening or night.
