As a large number of students apply for engineering courses, there are chances that during the preparation of merit list that more than 1 applicant getting the same cut-off marks. This would lead to a question, who will then be given priority. In this situation, in the 1st stage, the marks scored in Mathematics will be compared. The person with the highest marks will be called for counselling. In case they had scored equal marks, marks in Physics will be compared. In case this is also equal, the marks in the elective subject (Biology, Computer Science) will be compared. In case this is also equal, the dates of births will be compared.
Again, if they were born on the same date, the random number will be compared. The person with the lesser random number will be called for counselling.
