Charge your mobile with your Sweat, yes really

Would you believe if we tell you that your sweat can be used for charging a mobile device? Definitely no! But you got to believe, as scientists have developed a skin patch with which one can power a radio for 2 long days. The charging is done using your sweat. This may eventually be possible for charging mobile devise as well while you are heading out for a jog or run.

This bio fuel patch can also double up as glucose level monitor for people suffering with diabetes. This does not require needle or blood sample either, say researchers.

Researchers from the University of California, San Diego, the US have developed this skin patch. This is just a flexible square of a few centimeters. It can easily get stuck to the skin.

What is in it? The band contains enzymes that can replace precious metals that make up batteries. This makes use of sweat to produce power. Researchers say that the latest version introduced is 10 times powerful than the earlier ones, despite the fact that producing power out of a bio fuel cell is tricky.

We are able to extract excellent power levels. Probably, if you are heading out for a run, you can easily power your mobile device on the go, says a researchers from the University of California.

Reports state that lactate present in sweat is used to power bio fuel cell.
