Vijay TV Big Boss contestants & other details

The TV programme Big Boss has been hugely popular in the North States of India.
For the 1st time, this is being serialised in Tamil. Actor Kamal Haasan will be the anchor for this show telecast on Vijay TV.
The programmed was started on 25th June. The 1st Episode was an introductory one. Kamal Haasan compared the episode and introduced the house where the episodes of the Big Boss serial will happen.
Though it had been announced earlier that 14 contestants will participate, on the starting day of the programme, 15 contestants participated. Kamal Haasan introduced the contestants.
Contestant 1 - Actor Shri, who has performed in Tamil Movies such as Vazhakku Enn 18/9, Managaram.
Contestant 2 - Actress Anuya, who acted in movies SMS and Nanaban
Contestant 3 - Comedian Vaiyapuri
Contestant 4 - The popular actress and choreographer Gayathri Raghuram
Contestant 5 - Actor Bharani, acted in the popular movie Nadodigal
Contestant 6 - The famous fashion model Raiza Wilson
Contestant 7 - Lyricist and actor Snehan
Contestant 8 - Actress Oviya
Contestant 9 - Harathi Ganesh
Contestant 10 - A newcomer from Trichy, Aarar
Contestant 11 - Popular actor Ganja Karuppu
Contestant 12 - Juliana, who became popular during the Jallikkattu protest
Contestant 13 - Actor Ganesh Venkataram
Contestant 14 - Actor Shakthi Vasu, son of ace director P. Vasu
Contestant 15 - Actress Namitha
