In order to improve the quality of the teaching standards, a 5-days job training programme will be conducted for all graduate teachers on behalf of SSA, RMSA (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan & Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan).
The training will be given subject-wise and is set to start on 10th July in all the districts.
The State Planning Director of the Secondary Education Directorate, Mr S. Kannappan has sent a circular regarding this to all the District Project Coordinators, and the Primary Education Officers.
SSA and RMSA have joined to organised an job training programme to the teachers.
As per this, a consultants’ training programme was conducted at the regional level from for deciding about the training programme to the teacher covering all subjects for the current academic year (2017-18).
Subsequently, a 5-day, job training programme, subject-wise (Tamil, English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science), is scheduled to be conducted in all districts of the state.
The training schedule (5-days each subject)
- Science – from 10th July to 14th July
- Mathematics – from 17th July to 21st July
- English – from 24th July to 28th July.
- Social Science – from 31st July to 4th August
- Tamil – from 7th August to 11th August
