To all the students who wish to enroll for medical and dental programs, the Medical Council of India has made a stern alert not to fall prey to believe offers about guaranteed seats for money.

For these medical and dental studies, it is mandatory to take up NEET counselling. Those who get tempted with such seat for money offers and skip NEET exam will be prone to cancellation of their admission, said reports.

A lot of aspiring students are receiving text messages that claim of promised seats in private medical colleges for rate ranging between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 1.25 crore.

According to these touts, the students are promised for direct admission in colleges without wanting to attend counselling that’s absolutely against NEET norms.

As per reports, the touts offer admission in private medical colleges in UP and Karnataka through donation.

The commission for the tout is said and the remaining will be for donation to colleges, said a report.

All those who wish to make a back door entry with the help of an agent will be dealt strictly and such admissions can be easily caught, warns MCI.

It is mandatory to take up NEET counselling for joining medical college. Directly joining a medical college will lead to candidate disqualification, as per NEET rules. The medical counselling committee shall conduct counselling for students.
