Bikes and smoke-loving cars are inundating city roads that we could hardly find any bicycle. He is passionate about creating awareness among the public about prominent social issues like inculcating book reading habit, conservation of the precious water resource, coastal erosion, and of course, the benefits of cycling in our day-to-day life.
Nigin doesn’t just ride bicycle, but builds rapport with people all the way. He follows various strategies to make people aware of his above stated ideas. For instance, he drove from Coimbatore to Puducherry through Chennai to promote book readership. He met a lot of people there and donated a lot of books to those who met during his journey. He also articulated about the benefits of reading books.
He has so far made solo travel crossing over 3,200 km across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry.
In the near future, he has got plans to make a solo expedition with gearless bicycle driving all the way between Kanyakumari to Kashmir - all the best Nigin!
