Prospects of rain with thunder in Tamil Nadu because of depression

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that as there has been a recent depression formed, there are prospects of rain with thunder in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The low-pressure zone has developed and stabilised over the central-west Bay of Bengal to the Kanyakumari ocean. This may lead to the prospects of rain or rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Chennai Metro City will remain cloudy. There are prospects of light to medium intensity rain in the evening or night.
