All the YouTube Red users have been enjoying the ease of listening to offline music on YouTube Music for specified time, but this can be possible only via mixtape feature. This gets populated automatically according to your history of listening. Though it worked out technically, no sort of additional control was given for the users to listen to. However, now, users can choose their preferred song or playlist or album and save it for listening offline.
How to save your favorite tracks offline?
Click on the Menu option that is indicated by 3 dots present against any song, playlist or album. From this menu, select Save Offline. You will get a pop-up appearing and it will ask you whether the audio, SD video or HD video should be saved. On iOS devices, simply swipe left to include a song in the playlist and choose Offline. For accessing the content stored offline, click on to your Profile Picture and choose Offline.
In spite of being suitable for most users, the YouTube Red subscribers will have total control on what they can listen to on YouTube Music. You can thus save your playlist for the next long journey you have planned. Get it done right when you are present in a good Wi-Fi range.
