Heavy rainfall likely in Northern Tamil Nadu today

The director of Chennai meteorological research centre, Mr. S. Balachandran has informed that a few parts of Northern Tamil Nadu will receive heavy rain showers with thunderstorms.
There may be rains in a few places in South Tamil Nadu. Chennai city will remain cloudy. There are prospects of rain in the evening or night.
