The counselling for medical courses for the management quota in the private medical colleges and the Indian students living abroad is scheduled on Thursday, 31st August.
The counselling for medical courses has been in progress in Tamil Nadu from 24th August. In the 1st Phase, the counselling for the government medical colleges and the government quota of seats in the private medical colleges. This counselling session will be completed by 30th August.
Subsequently, the counselling for the management quota of seats in the 18 private (dental) medical colleges and the quota of seats for the Indian students living abroad is scheduled to commence on Thursday, 31st August.

As per the above, the candidates (Indian students living abroad) who hold the ranks from 1 to 6043 and the candidates who have scored 655 to 217 marks as per the NEET rank-list can participate in the counselling.
The counselling will be conducted in 3 sections from 10.00 AM at the Chennai Omandhurar Multi-speciality Hospital.
The management quota in the private medical colleges is 592 seats and for dental colleges, it is 715 seats. For the category of Indian Students living abroad, the course fees have been fixed at Rs. 23.50 Lakhs for MBBS Course and Rs. 9 Lakhs for BDS Course.
