Prospects of rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Wednesday, 30th August.
A depression zone has formed and stabilised from the State of Chattisgarh to central-east Bay of Bengal. Due to the effect of this depression zone and thermal convection phenomenon, it may rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Wednesday, 30th August.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has also informed that it may rain in a few places adjacent to the Western Ghat in districts like Nilgiris and Kovai.
