9 New ministers inducted in the central cabinet

The central government, headed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been expanded. 9 new ministers have been inducted.

4 Central ministers of state, including Nirmala Sitharaman from Tamil Nadu, have been elevated as full-fledged cabinet ministers. They also assumed office at the new level today (Sunday, 3rd September).

The 4 ministers of state who have been elevated as full-fledged cabinet ministers are Dharmendra Pradhan (Petroleum), Piyush Goel (Electricity), Nirmala Sitharaman (Trade and Commerce), and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi ( Parliamentary Affairs).

The 9 new ministers are:

Shiv Pratap Shukla and Satya Pal Singh (U. P.), Aswini kumar, and R. K. Singh (Bihar), Virendra Kumar (M. P.), Anath kumar Hegde (Karnataka). Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Alphons Kannanthanam, and Hardeep Singh Puri (Rajathan). The President, Ramnath Kovind, administered the oath. 

The vice-president Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan, BJP President Amit Shah, and other central ministers participated in the function.
