For many days issue is that between Karnataka and Tamilnadu. Chief minister J.Jayalalitha is meeting her counterpart Karnataka Chief minister Mr. jagadish shettar to speak about the issue of distress sharing of Cauvery river from Karnataka to tamilnadu. our chief minister’s decision to meet Karnataka officials is said by supreme court to argue about the problem and to make curiosity and behalf of this controversial issue farmers are being severely affected by the scarcity of water in delta basins of Tanjavore ,kumbakonam and are waiting for the samba reaping they are ready with their seeds but the absence of water.

Beyond this bilateral issue the Cauvery river dispute made strong emotions in both states and featured as a key issue in successive elections. so that Chief minister J.Jayalalitha is ready to meet the opposite party to discuss about the problem and find a complete salvation of the issue. nature is also opposite to both the state as a biggest threat With southwest monsoon bringing poor showers, Karnataka is bound to insist that the levels in some of the important reservoirs, including the Krishnaraja Sagar dam, are low and it is not in a position to release water, a stand they have maintained in the Supreme Court and before the Cauvery River Monitoring Authority.

The problem is not only in the Karnataka but also for us where the farmers in Tamil Nadu`s rice belt say their crops are wilting due to lack of water, officials maintain that water level in the Mettur reservoir in Salem, the main source of water for irrigation in delta districts of Tiruvarur, Thanjavur and Nagapattinam, is precariously low. Due to that the rice cropping is made very poor and the farmers obligation and request is that they should take an action against the dispute and to save their life
